Our wellbeing is that of the earth

Magical encounters to be lived with heart, mind and open senses

The Stelvio National Park is the largest of Italy’s historic parks and still the most extensive in the Alpine Arc. Trekking here means living intensely the energy that passes through you with every breath, every step. While slowing down, synchronising with the Alps and with the Park, you become part of a greater balance, where the mountain sets its own rules and we learn to listen again. With a little luck, as you walk, you can experience magical and moving encounters with the local wildlife: deer and roe deer crossing the meadows, marmots whistling among the boulders, and at higher altitudes, ibex and chamois moving nimbly among the rocks, under the watchful eye of majestic birds of prey and the bearded vulture, emblem of the park.

Val Zebrù, one of the most distinctive valleys of the Stelvio National Park, offers the emotion of hearing the powerful roar of the red deer echoing through the woods – especially in autumn, during the rutting season. Walking here is not merely physical activity; it is an experience to be lived with heart, mind and open senses. In dialogue with nature, we respectfully learn to know the force of wild life, and come to understand how deeply our own wellbeing is intertwined with that of the earth.

Bites of Valtellina Flavours

A unique viticulture

Valtellina is Italy’s most extensive terraced wine-growing territory. Vines grow across over 800 hectares of terraced vineyards, supported by 2,500 km of dry-stone walls, whose craftsmanship has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage. Protected by the Alps, kissed by the sun and caressed by the breeze of Lake Como, Nebbiolo dominates the scene, producing wines of extraordinary finesse and elegance.
