Cookie Policy

Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s provision no. 229 dated May 8, 2014, users of this website are provided with information regarding the cookies used.

WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are small text strings that the websites visited by a user send to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored to be sent back to the same websites during the user’s next visit.

PURPOSE

Cookies are used for IT authentication, session monitoring, storing information on user-specific settings accessing the server, etc.

TECHNICAL COOKIES

Technical cookies are used solely to “carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service” (see Art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code as amended by Art. 11 of Legislative Decree 101/2018).
These cookies are not used for other purposes and are usually installed directly by the website owner or manager.
They can be classified into:
Browsing or session cookies, which allow normal navigation and use of the website (e.g., to make a purchase or access restricted areas);
Analytics cookies, considered technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect aggregate data on user numbers and how they use the site;
Functionality cookies, which store user preferences (such as language or selected products) to improve service quality.
For these types of cookies, user consent is not required, although an information notice under Article 13 of EU Reg. 679/2016 must still be provided. If only these cookies are used, the site operator may choose the most appropriate method to provide this notice.

PROFILING COOKIES

Profiling cookies are used to create user profiles and send advertising messages aligned with the user’s browsing preferences.
Due to their potentially intrusive nature, both European and Italian regulations require users to be adequately informed and to give valid consent before such cookies are used.

THIRD-PARTY TECHNICAL COOKIES
While browsing the site, users may also receive third-party cookies from websites or web servers other than the one they are visiting. These may include elements like images, maps, sounds, and links to pages hosted on different domains.
